What it does not do
Can visitors book and pay for a seat on my website?
No: there is no booking widget for your website and no per-seat availability calendar, because FleetDesk, dispatch software for tour operators, is built around quote-first private work rather than published departures a stranger buys one seat on.
This is the biggest single difference between this product and the booking platforms you have probably already looked at, and it is worth being certain about before you migrate anything.
The shape it is built for
Somebody asks. You price it for their group. They accept and put a deposit down. You run the day. Custom groups, charters, private tours, corporate days, multi-stop itineraries.
The shape it is not built for
A published schedule of fixed departures, with live seat counts, that members of the public buy individual tickets on, instantly, without talking to you. If that is the bulk of your revenue, a checkout-first platform genuinely fits you better and it is cheaper for both of us to say so now.
What your website can do
Point its enquiry form at your account and every submission lands in your pipeline as a new enquiry, matched to the customer’s existing record and to one of your own tours where the names agree. You then reply with a quote. That is the funnel this product supports.
Operators who do both
Plenty of operators sell fixed departures on one platform and run their private and charter work here. Nothing prevents that, and the seat-counting on the dispatch board does not care where a booking came from.
