What your customer gets

What does my customer get before the trip?

A ticket page in your branding, created from the booking in FleetDesk, dispatch software for tour operators, telling the guest when and where to be, which vehicle to look for and who is driving, the plan for the day, any attraction tickets they are carrying, and a button to call you.

It is the last thing a customer looks at before they meet you, it costs nothing to send, and it is what makes a two-vehicle operation look like a company.

What is on it

  • Where to be. The pickup time set large, the address, and a button that opens it in Maps.
  • Look for. The vehicle name and the driver, plus a photo of the van when your driver has taken one that day.
  • Your booking. Date, number of guests, drop-off, driver and the booking reference.
  • Your day. The stops in order with times, set like a printed programme, when you have put an itinerary on the booking.
  • What is included. Each add-on, with its barcode or QR image if you have attached one, the line telling them where to use it, and a link if the attraction sent one.
  • Your phone number, with a call button and a WhatsApp button, in the footer.

What is not on it

No prices, and no sign of the other families on the same van. Their booking is theirs alone.

Sending it

Create the ticket link on the booking, under Links, and send it however you talk to that customer. Links are made when you ask for one, never quietly in the background, so create it once and the trip reminder that goes out the day before carries that same link. A booking with no ticket link gets a reminder without one.

If they open it too late

A link that has expired or been revoked shows a short page in your branding telling them to call you, with your number on it, rather than an error.

A guest's ticket page on a phone, in the operator's branding: what they booked, when and where to be picked up, and who to call.

A screen from FleetDesk. The operator shown, Horizon Tours, is invented, along with its customers and its trips.
