What can my driver see, and what is hidden from them?
A driver run sheet in FleetDesk, dispatch software for tour operators, shows the date, the vehicle, every pickup in order with times, addresses, party sizes, party names, a tap-to-call number and the extras each group is carrying, and it deliberately shows no money at all: no price, no deposit, no balance, no driver pay and none of your internal notes.
That split is enforced in the query behind the page, not by hiding a section. Nothing financial crosses onto a link a driver might forward.
On the page
- The day, the vehicle, and the departure.
- Each group in pickup order: time, address with a directions link, party size, and the name to ask for at the hotel door.
- A phone number per group, to call or message, because the driver is the one person who genuinely needs it.
- Which groups have which extras, by label and quantity. Who has cruise tickets matters at the gate; what they paid does not.
- Notes from the office, when you have put any on the run.
- A cancelled trip says so in plain language at the top rather than quietly disappearing.
Built for the kerbside
Larger type than the rest of the product, one column, big tap targets, and readable in direct sunlight at 6am. That is the whole design brief for this page.
