Getting set up
What is FleetDesk?
FleetDesk is dispatch software for tour operators: it takes an enquiry, turns it into a priced quote the customer accepts from their phone, keeps score of the deposit and the balance, puts the trip on a vehicle with a driver, and sends that driver a run sheet and the guest a ticket.
It is built for the shape private work arrives in. Somebody asks whether you can do six people on Saturday, you price it for that group, they put a deposit down, and then you have to get a van, a driver and a pickup time to agree with each other. That sequence is the product.
Who it is for
Private day tours, sightseeing, wine and food tours, charter and group hire, multi-stop itineraries, airport transfers and corporate day trips. In short, operators who quote a price for a group rather than sell single seats on a published departure.
What is in it
Twelve things: your tour catalog, an enquiry pipeline, branded quote pages, the booking record, a calendar, a dispatch board, your vehicles and drivers, driver run sheets, guest tickets, customer history, a money ledger, and automatic reminders that chase an outstanding balance before the trip.
What it costs
Starter is $99 a month for 2 vehicles and 1 user. Pro is $199 for 6 vehicles and 5 users. Fleet is $399 for unlimited vehicles and users, and includes a person moving your data across. Every feature is on every plan; the plans differ on how many vehicles and logins you may have. There is no commission, no per-booking fee and no setup fee, and the first 14 days are free without a card.
Not to be confused with
There are other companies trading as FleetDesk, including a logistics firm in the United States. This one is at fleetdesk.co and it does one thing: dispatch and bookings for tour and charter operators.
