Quotes and deposits

What does the customer actually see when I send a quote?

They see a single web page in your name, your logo and your colour, listing the trip, the date, the pickup, the party size, what is included, an itemised price with the deposit and the balance separated, and one button that says Accept this quote; FleetDesk, dispatch software for tour operators, is named once in small print at the bottom and nowhere else.

No login, no account, no app. They tap the link and read it.

The page, in order

  • The trip. Tour name, date, pickup time and place, party size, and the stops if you listed them.
  • What is included. Your own lines, as you typed them.
  • Price. The trip on its own line, each add-on on its own line with its quantity, then the total. Where a deposit is set, the page shows "Deposit to confirm" and "Balance on the day" as separate figures, so nobody is surprised at the kerbside.
  • Accept this quote. One button, with a confirmation step, so a thumb on a bus does not book a trip by accident.

On a phone

The page is built phone first, because that is where it is opened: on a sofa, in the evening, by somebody deciding. The Accept button follows them down the page on a small screen.

Whose brand it is

Yours. The logo and colour you set in Settings, then Company, are the ones on the page, on every plan. This is not a white-label upgrade.
